FAQs
How far behind the boat do i pull the dredge?
- This varies boat to boat and day to day based on conditions, good rule of thumb is you want to see the full dredge so you can see fish on it. if you cant see it, its to far back
What speed do i troll these?
- anywhere from 4-7 knots
How do i know how far to let it out?
- all paracords in the kits have 10 foot marked sections, this takes the guess work out of how far to let it out once you get it trolling in the right spot for the day
Are they easy to deploy
- yes start by attaching the cork screw on the paracord to the top of the weight. attach one cork screw on the mono to the back to the weight and the other cork screw to the top of the dredge. slowly let the dredge out until it is just barely insight and cleat the other end of the paracord to your boat. after that your ready to start raising more fish
